These instructions will help you master reset your phone, if you are unable to master reset your phone or you have a device that does not run on operating system then continue on belowZTE Prelude Z667 Hard Reset
Master Reset Instructions
A master reset reverts the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, settings and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps that are saved to the device and SD card. It is recommended that you save (backup) important data to your SIM card, or a computer before proceeding.
First, try this:
Master reset from settings menu
- Firstly press the Power button,until your device is on.
- From the home screen open Menu and choose Settings.
- After that select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
- Choose Reset phone and select Erase everything to begin hard reset operation.
Or.
- The device must be power off, so press and hold Power button.
- Then hold down the Power button to turn on the phone.
- Choose emergency dial, and type the following number: *983*22387#
- Then from the menu in front of you choose Erase Everything.
- Done! Now your phone will restart.
If that doesn’t work, or if your phone is frozen:
Master reset with hardware keys
- Turn off your device.
- After that press and hold Volume Up + Power button.
- Release held keys when you see an Android menu on your screen.
- Hold down the Power button for a short while to enter Recovery Mode.
- Choose “wipe data/factory reset” by using Volume Down to navigate and Volume Up button to confirm.
- Select “Yes–delete all user data“. Use Volume Down button to scroll and Volume Up to select.
- To restart the phone select “reboot system now“.
- Good job! The hard reset has just been performed on your ZTE Prelude.
