Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. Remove and insert the battery.
2. Then press and hold Volume Up + Power button.
3. When logo Samsung appears, then release only Power button but keep Holding the Volume Up Key.
4. Afterwards wait for Android Recovery Menu and select “Factory Data Reset“
5. Now select “YES” with Home button.
6. After that select option “reboot system now”.
7. The handset will completely reset and restart.
