Master Reset Instructions

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.

To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

1. From the Home screen, touch Menu, Main Menu 1.

2. Touch Settings.

3. Touch Phone Settings.

4. Touch Security.

5. Enter the Lock code and touch OK; default lock code is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.

6. Touch Master Reset.

7. Touch yes to confirm resetting the handset to the factory default settings.

Note: Settings will be set to factory defaults except Contacts.

Hard Reset Instructions

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.

In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

1. Make sure, that your phone is on.

2. Then press in sequence this code: *2767*2878#

3. Now wait until your phone restarts.
