Master Reset Instructions
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
1. Go to main home screen, press the menu button.
2. Choose the Privacy.
3. Press Factory data reset.
4. Read the disclaimer, then Press Reset.
5. Press Erase everything.
6. Restart the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro.
Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. Make sure, that yours battery is full charged.
2. Next remove and insert the battery.
3. Next press and hold together Volume Up + Home button + Power button.
4. Once you see the Samsung logo, then release only Power button.
5. When you see in the screen Recovery mode menu, release the rest buttons.
6. Select option “wipe data/factory reset” using Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to confirm operation.
7. Choose option “yes” and confirm with Power button.
8. After that, confirm option “reboot“.
