Master Reset Instructions

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.

To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your phone.

2. Go to settings.

3. Select “Privacy Settings”.

4. Tap the “Factory data reset”.

5. Select the “Reset Device”.

6. Select “Delete all”.

Hard Reset Instructions

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.

In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

1. Turn off your phone.

2. Hold the buttons Home, power and volume up.

3. Wait until it vibrates.

4. Release all the buttons upon seeing the Android logo.

5. Now you are in your phone’s recovery mode.

6. Use the volume up to scroll up, volume down to scroll down and power button to select.

7. Select the “Wipe data/Factory reset”.

8. Select the “Yes — delete all user data”.
