Master Reset Instructions
A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.
To perform a master reset, follow these steps:
1. Power on phone.
2. Tap on settings.
3. Then Select Privacy.
4. Tap on Factory data reset (You will see a disclaimer, please read the disclaimer)
5. Tap Reset Phone.
6. If you are certain that you would like to restore all factory settings, tap Erase Everything.
Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold Power + Camera + Volume Down.
3. When Samsung logo appears release only Power Down.
4. In menu select Factory data reset.
5. Then the Device will rest to original settings
Important: Back up important data before performing a factory reset of the device. Since all data will be removed from device.
