Hard Reset Instructions
A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.
In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:
1. Power off your phone.
2. Hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
3. When the Android System Recovery screen appears, release the keys.
4. Using the volume keys, scroll to Wipe Data / Factory Reset.
5. Press the Power key to confirm.
6. Scroll to the yes option — delete all user.
7. Press the Power key to confirm.
8. Once complete, scroll to Reboot System Now.
9. Press the Power key to confirm.
10. The phone will display a confirmation message when the reset is complete.
