Master Reset Instructions

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.

To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

1. Tap the Widget Bar and then tap Settings.

2. Tap Reset Settings > Master Reset.

3. If prompted, create a new password.

4. Tap yes to begin reset process.

Hard Reset Instructions

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.

In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

1. Shut down the device. Press and hold the End key, tap Power Off, and then tap OK.

2. Remove SIM card. Remove the battery cover, the battery, and then remove the SIM card. Replace the battery and battery cover.

3. three-key combination: Press and hold the Volume Down key, Send Key, and then End Key in succession. Make sure that all three are being pressed simultaneously and that the End Key is pressed last.

4. When the graphic is displayed, press the Menu key to begin factory reset.
