LG CU500 Hard Reset

Before you give your handset to repair shop or buy new handset, please try the following procedure to repair your device. First charge your battery more then 70%, backup your important data like phone-book, message, email, images and settings and in most cases take out SIM card and SD card. After doing hard reset not possible to recover your data, so online backup is always important. For all of your data, a backup should be done on a external device, hard drive, raid system media or SD card.

How to Hard Reset LG CU500

Perform a Master Reset

  1. Switch on your Device.
  2. From the standby screen, press Menu.
  3. Scroll to and select Settings.
  4. Scroll to and select Reset Setting.
  5. Scroll to and select Reset Default.
  6. Scroll to and select Yes.
  7. Enter Security code, press OK.

NOTE: The default security code is 0000.

Reset Memory

  1. Switch on your Device.
  2. From the standby screen, press Menu.
  3. Scroll to and select Settings.
  4. Scroll to and select Reset Setting.
  5. Scroll to and select Clear Memory.
  6. Scroll to and select desired option:
  7. Handset Contents
  8. Handset Personal info.
  9. Memory Card
  10. Scroll to and select Yes.
  11. Enter Security code, press OK.

NOTE: The default security code is 0000.
