When you restore the factory default settings, all personal settings are reset, such as choice of ringtone etc.

Please note: All data in the phone is also deleted. Data on the SIM card is not deleted.

Performing a factory reset from settings

Follow these instructions to restore the factory default settings.

1. Find Factory reset
   Press Start
   Press Settings
   Press Security
   Press Factory reset
2. Restore factory default settings
   Key in 1234
   Press Yes
   Wait a moment while the phone restores the factory default settings
   Follow the instructions on the display to configure the phone and prepare it for use.

   1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then press the END/POWER button shortly and release it. …
