Master Reset Instructions

A master reset restores the original factory settings and may delete your personal data on the internal storage, such as downloaded content, ringtones, images, apps, and contacts. It does not delete data stored on the SIM card or SD card.

To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

1. From the main home screen, tap menu

2. Tap Settings, then Privacy.

3. Tap Factory data reset.

4. Tap Reset phone.

5. Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm.

Hard Reset Instructions

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.

In order to perform a hard reset, follow these steps:

1. With the handset turned off, press and hold the Volume Down key.

2. With the Volume Down key held down, press and hold the Power key.

3. Release all keys when the Android system recovery menu appears.

4. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to wipe data/factory reset.

5. With wipe data/factory reset highlighted, press the Power key.

6. Press the Volume Down key to scroll to yes — delete all user data.

7. With Yes
