Before you give your handset to repair shop or buy new handset, please try the following procedure to repair your device. First charge your battery more then 70%, backup your important data like phone-book, message, email, images and settings and in most cases take out SIM card and SD card. After doing hard reset not possible to recover your data, so online backup is always important. For all of your data, a backup should be done on a external device, hard drive, raid system media or SD card.

How to Hard Reset Acer E300

You might have to execute a reset if the device are not response. A soft reset enables your device to get a clean start to restarting a device. This will reboot your device and adjust memory space portion. To perform a soft reset:

Executing a soft reset will not crystal clear the RAM in the unit. To execute a hard reset: Hold the device securely; click and hold the electrical power key and then click the soft reset key on the right side of your device. Executing a hard reset will clear the RAM in the unit and totally reset the GPS of the unit.

Running the factory default configurations If you still experience system mistakes even after soft and hard resetting the device, load the factory standard configurations to correct the error. These standard configurations have been chosen to optimize your device’s functionality. To load the factory default configurations:

  • Tap setting on the Main Menu Panel.
  • Tap Misc. on the Setting Panel.
  • Tap Back to Factory Default on the Misc. Screen.
  • Tap Ok on the dialog box.
  • After the factory reset, reconfigure your device’s user preferences

Executing a factory default will remove the RAM, reset the GPS and remove all the user/application data on the unit’s Flash disc. The data on the SD card will not be removed.
